QUESTION

Are there any reports that can be exported from QuickBooks Desktop (QBDT) with Rightworks Transaction Pro Exporter?

RESOLUTION

Transaction Pro Exporter has some reports available that can be exported from QBDT. Below is a listing of the reports and why they might be used.

Journal Report

This Journal Report provides all the debits and credits behind any transaction in QBDT. This report shows the raw data without any formatting so therefore, it is helpful if the data needs to be imported to another software.

Invoice with Payments

The Invoice with Payments report shows Invoices along with their corresponding Payments and the Payment Dates. This can be helpful for those companies that only pay a commission once the Invoice has been paid.

Payroll Detail Report

The Payroll Detail Report shows the gross amount with any deductions. This report is helpful for those that need to import the Payroll detail to another QBDT company file or another application.

Transaction Detail Report

If the Transaction Detail Report is run in QBDT and a transaction has split lines, it will shows the word SPLIT in the Account column. You can run this report in QuickBooks but if you have split lines on your transaction in the account column, it just shows the word split which makes the report useless. However, if this report is exported with Exporter, this will not occur. Businesses use this report detailed analysis of all accounts is needed in a single report.
