How can Rightworks Transaction Pro be moved to a new computer or server?
RESOLUTION
Version 8
With Version 8, there is no deactivation required. Download Version 8 on the new machine using the TPro_V8 installation file attached to the link below. Once installed, click on I HAVE A LICENSE and enter the activation information. This will deactivate the previous activation and activate Version 8 on the new machine.
Transaction Pro Importer Installation Files
Version 6 or Version 7 Importer or Exporter and Version 2 or Version 3 Deleter
The current installation will need to be deactivated, following the steps below. If the current installation is not accessible to deactivate, contact [email protected] to request that the license be manually deactivated.

Open Transaction Pro

Click on the ABOUT button in the lower left-hand side of the window

On the next window, click on the ACTIVATION button

Enter your activation information

Click DEACTIVATE

Click CLOSE
Install Transaction Pro on the new computer, following the steps to re-activate.

Click on the ACTIVATE button in the lower left-hand side of the window

On the next window, click on the ACTIVATION button

Enter your activation information

Click ACTIVATE

Click CLOSE

If Importer or Exporter was purchased prior to May 24, 2019, be sure to download the correct copy of the needed version (Server or Desktop). If Version 7 Importer or Exporter was purchased after May 24, 2019, the Server version will need to be installed.
